SIMply ADAC – about us

The ADAC HEMS Academy is an international training center with focus on Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and all other fields of helicopter flight operations, emergency medical care and related tasks.

The ADAC HEMS Academy also provides consultancy for HEMS and EMS and human factor training for broader target groups from high reliability organizations (HRO).

ADAC HEMS Academy was founded in 2009 as a subsidiary of ADAC air rescue (ADAC Luftrettung) and makes the global HEMS experience from more than 50 years and far more than 1 million HEMS missions useable to our customers.

Customers from around the world

Pilots and technical crew members with various mission profiles like HEMS, law enforcement, military, and aerial work use our flight simulators and training programs. Physicians, paramedics, and nurses from all fields of emergency medical care are qualified in standard training formats or task-oriented courses.

Our domain is customizing training – especially for multi-professional crews or teams.
